Robert lawrence plunkett
Based in Lancaster, California, Robert Lawrence Plunkett is a respected wills and trusts lawyer. Renowned for his incredible stamina, he finished 25 marathons during his 50s and 60s. Plunkett has taught at multiple law colleges and universities, as well as judged pro tem in several Southern California courts. Along with the original A California Dreamer in King Henry’s Court, written by Robert L. Plunkett, his vast body of work consists of hundreds of essays and columns. He is married and the loving father of one son, Bobby. He balances a great career with his personal interests.
When he was eight years old, Robert Lawrence Plunkett’s teacher had him take an IQ test because he seemed much more intelligent than his grades suggested. After the test, he was told that he had, “… the mind of a fourteen-year-old.”
He kind of did. He had a bad attitude and liked to chase girls, but as for academics, schoolwork didn’t interest him. So, he put in minimal effort. He had a wide-ranging interest in life and the world. He investigated these things by reading books including encyclopedias and his parent’s college textbooks. By high school, he got interested in schoolwork and ultimately went to college and law school.
He has never lost his hunger for knowledge. The result is this amusing collection of things he has learned and figured out that he shares with you for your entertainment and enlightenment.
